I have been lucky enough to visit Singapore multiple times thanks to my little brother living there.
However, I must say that every time feels different from the previous one as the city is constantly evolving!
Singapore is one of the most vibrant and multicultural capital in the world and you totally need to put it on your bucket list.
Whether it’s a short break or a longer holiday, here’s my top 5!
-
Drink a cocktail admiring the tallest swimming pool of the world
This is not just a swimming pool on a rooftop, this is THE swimming pool.
Unless you are ready to fork out a lot of money to spend a night in the hotel, the closest you can get to the pool is getting to the club.
CÉ LA VI – 1 Bayfront Avenue Marina Bay Sands Tower 3, Singapore 018971
-
Stroll in the most futurist garden
Gardens by The Bay has become in just few years the number one Singapore tourist attraction.
There is nothing like this in the entire world and although the entrance fee is quite pricey, you will not regret it.
Gardens by The Bay – 18 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018953

Don’t miss Kamplong Glam
Not only you will see a stunning mosque in Arab Street but you can also enjoy independent boutiques and cool street art in Haji Lane!
Closest metro: Bugis
-
Sentosa: the State of Fun
There are endless activities in Sentosa.
Whether you want to spend a day at the Universal Studios, the Adventure Park or simply sunbathing in one of the coolest beaches Sentosa is truly too much fun!
Closest metro: Get to Harbourfront Station, enter VivoCity Mall and catch the Sentosa Express on the third floor.
-
Don’t forget the Quays
The Singapore river consist of 3 different quays: Boat, Robinson and Clarke Quay.
Clarke Quay is totally my favourite area for the night life.
There are very cool places to get a drink, most of them with live music.
My favorite Italian restaurant is in Robertson Quay, just few minutes away from Clarke Quay.
Rosso Vino 15 Merbau Rd, Singapore 239032 | Open Daily – 3pm to 1am
I hope you found this list interesting…
See you next year Singapore!
