Vibrant Dublin

Reachable in just 1 hour and 20 minutes away by flight, Dublin makes the perfect escape even for a short weekend.

I booked a weekend for me and my little sister to celebrate the end of high school and we really enjoyed it!

Finding an accommodation for one night was a bit tricky because all the hotels were either fully booked or very expensive  so we decided to get a hostel experience for the first time in our lives(…and last)

The hostel was in Drury Street, amazing location to visit the city on foot.

By the time we set foot in the city centre, we shortly realized what a great vibe this city sends off.

Street artists, friendly people in shops and cafes, young tourists, students… the city screams: “Let’s have fun!”

We couldn’t wait to explore the Temple Bar and, as a ritual, we stopped for a drink at THE bar.

Temple Bar is believed to be a very loved spot since 795 A.D, Vikings time!

It is indeed the cultural heart of Dublin, with open air markets,exhibitions, cafes and boutiques.

I wanted to make the most of my visit and discover the other side of Dublin so after a very pleasant walk along the river we opted for an early night in in order to be fully energized for the following day.

Is there a better way to start off your day with an Irish breakfast?

I don’t think so!

Unfortunately something happened to my phone and all my photos of the second day are missing…

I know, super sad!

However, I still want to share what you shouldn’t miss when visiting Dublin for short break!

• Trinity College

Of course there is much more to visit but we had just few hours and we couldn’t squeeze more than that.
